Mariah Carey is staging her third Las Vegas residency, “Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi Live in Las Vegas,” which will bring eight shows to Dolby Live at Park MGM from April 12 to 27.
A press release announcing the tour stated that it celebrates “the anniversary of Mariah’s iconic album, ‘The Emancipation of Mimi.’”
But that album was released in 2005 so, happy 19th anniversary? (If you’re in the mood to read an hysterically snarky blog post about this residency, check out Casino.org’s most recent Vital Vegas blog.)
The dates will be April 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26, and 27. But more are expected to be added.
The 54-year-old singer’s previous residencies, both at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, were 2015’s “#1 to Infinity” and 2018’s “The Butterfly Returns.”
Tickets will go on sale to the public on Saturday, February 10 at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.
Elongations
Christina Aguilera has added 10 new shows to her residency at the Voltaire at Venetian. The dates are May 31-June 1, June 7-8, August 2-3, and August 30-31. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 16 at 10 a.m. via voltairelv.com.
She’s also playing April 12-13, which are makeup dates for the January 5-6 shows she postponed due to flu. Holders of the previous tickets have already been notified, though some new seats may be available due to cancellations.
Donny Osmond has extended his latest engagement at Harrah’s, which began in 2021. The newly announced dates include August 27-31; September 3-7, 10-14, and 17-21; and November 5-9 and 12-16. Tickets are available at caesars.com/shows.
