The trio walked into the gaming property at about 1:30 a.m. and pulled out firearms. They demanded the loot and then fled, possibly toward the French side of Saint Martin.

They were dressed in dark clothes at the time of the holdup, according to The Daily Herald, a local newspaper.

Local police on the Caribbean island searched the crime scene for evidence and spoke to witnesses. No arrests were made as of Friday.

No one was believed to have been injured during the robbery.

Bally’s Player Accused of Cheating

A man who was playing baccarat at Bally’s Casino Chicago on Sunday was charged with cheating.

The suspect, Isaias Garcia-Martinez, allegedly held a bet until cards were dealt, according to Chicago TV station WFLD.

He won $5,000. When he returned to the casino on Tuesday, authorities arrested him. He was scheduled to appear in local court on Wednesday.

It was the first arrest for cheating at Bally’s Chicago since the temporary property opened on September 9, WFLD reported.

Dead Man Discovered at Casino

Authorities discovered a dead body in a car at California’s Gold Country Casino Resort on Monday evening.

The deceased was identified as Barry MacDonald, 66, of Palermo, Calif., according to the Butte County Sheriff’s Office, California TV station KNVN reported.

MacDonald was located at about 6:07 p.m. at the Oroville, Calif. property.

An autopsy will be performed by the local coroner’s office to determine a cause of death.

Casino Player Could Face Charges

A man who allegedly left a five-year-old in a vehicle at Pennsylvania’s Presque Isle Downs and Casino was banned from the state’s gaming properties and could face criminal charges.

The unidentified man’s name was placed on the state’s involuntary exclusion list. He won’t be able to return to the Erie, Pa., casino or other gaming facilities in the state after a ruling by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB).

The five-year-old was alone in a car while the man spent close to a half-hour inside the casino trying his luck on table games, according to Pennsylvania TV station WICU.

The outside temperature while the kid was in the car was 85 degrees. There’s been no word if the child suffered any injuries from the heat.

The PGCB prohibits the leaving of children in vehicles unattended at casinos while adults enter a gaming property.

“It creates a potentially unsafe and dangerous environment for the children,” according to the PGCB.
